Frequently Asked Questions

Here are some questions frequently asked by our clients.

Do you supply tap ware and water cooler accessories?

Yes. We have a large range of faucets available for different types of applications. We also supply cup holders and filtration systems.

Do you supply standard bottle water dispensers?

Yes. We supply high quality water dispensers that can be used with any standard size bottled water, including 11-litre, 15-litre, and 19-litre bottles.

What is a filtered water dispenser?

What is a filtered water dispenser? A filtered water dispenser is a type of refrigerated water cooler that generally has two faucets fitted on the front of the dispenser so that a cup or small bottle can be filled. The water supply to the dispenser is fed from an outside water supply, which is easily attached to the back of the water cooler. There is no drain line required on this style of water cooler, therefore making it very easy and cost efficient to install.

How do wheelchair access water coolers differ from regular water coolers?

Wheelchair access water coolers are mounted on a wall and designed for easy access by a wheel chair. They are available in sandstone colour or full stainless steel and are fitted with a stainless steel glass filler and safety rubber bubbler.

Do you supply floor standing and wall mounted water coolers?

Yes. We have floor standing and wall mounted models available in full stainless steel or powder coated panelling. We also supply compact refrigerated water chillers for installation in a cupboard under the sink.

What types of water coolers do you supply?

Frigmac supplies many different styles of refrigerated water coolers, including multi-level, floor standing, wall-mounted, and wheelchair accessible varieties. Our water coolers are used in schools, offices, factories, mine sites, construction sites, gymnasiums, hospitals, homes, and at many other sites throughout Australia.

What should I consider when selecting a refrigerated water cooler?

Before choosing a water cooler there are a number of things you need to consider: Where is the water cooler going to be installed? (Home, hospital, school, office, building site, mining camp, workshop, etc.) Will the water cooler be installed indoors or outside? Will people drink directly from the water cooler or will they use a cup or glass? Are water containers going to be filled? If so, how much water per container and how often will they be refilled? How many people are going to use the water cooler, and over what time period? Is the water cooler going to be using bottled water or is it going to be connected to a water supply? Will a water drain be required? Is there access within the building or surrounding area for one to be installed? Is there an electrical power supply available? Does the water have to be refrigerated? Are the environmental surroundings corrosive or non corrosive?
