This type of refrigerated water cooler generally has two faucets fitted on the front of the dispenser so that a cup or small bottle can be filled. 

The water supply to the dispenser is fed from an outside water supply which is easily attached to the back of the water cooler.   The water supply could be fitted with a filtration system, however this is not a necessity for the operation of the water cooler.  There is no drain line required on this style of water cooler, therefore making it very easy and cost efficient to install.

A drip tray is fitted just below the faucets to catch any excess water therefore no water drain is required.  The drip tray is simply lifted off the dispenser and the excess water disposed off.
